Grading Criteria for Candidates Explained.

This list contains only races that we are currently aware of. (Although there may be more seats because the State does not list independent candidates.)

• GOAL rarely endorsed candidates based solely on a questionnaire score. We have had candidates score very well and then attack us when they get elected.
• Letter Grades are reserved for Incumbents only. The grades are based on their actions regarding filing legislation, votes taken, etc. Incumbents are graded based on their current 2-year session.
• Percentage Grades are reserved for new candidates.
• NR = No Rating. For instance, those who may have supported bills have not personally passed bills during their current 2-year session.
