MA Gun Law for the Range Safety Officer

Lesson I: Introduction to the NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Course

Lesson II: The Role of the Range Safety Officer & Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Lesson III: Range Inspection and Range Rules

Lesson IV: Range Safety Briefing

Lesson V: Emergency Procedures

Lesson VI: Firearm Stoppages & Malfunctions

Lesson VII: Test & Review

Various Live Fire Exercises and Demonstrations

Special Notes:

·      Class size will be limited to 12 students. You must pre-register. No walk-ins will be allowed. You are registered only when tuition and the completed application are received!

·      Silver Level Club Affiliates may send 1 person at no cost. Gold level Club Affiliates may send 2 people at no cost. Both are subject to availability and require written authorization from a club officer.  

·      Course Tuition: $115.00 for GOAL members. Non-member tuition is $160. Gun Owners’ Action League.

·      Applications can be returned via email/text/mail

·      Tuition does not include NRA certification fees.
