Events & Fundraising Coordinator
Gun
Owners’ Action League is seeking to hire an energetic
person to become our Events & Fundraising Coordinator.
This is a full time salaried position with some night
and weekend work.
-
Coordinate GOAL
Heritage Banquets including solicitation of
donations ticket sales, managing volunteers, venue
relations;
-
Coordinate displays
and staffing at Gun/Trade Show booths or tables;
-
Coordinating
affiliated organizational events such as GOAL Cup
matches, assisting in setting up firearm safety
events, etc.;
-
Membership drives;
-
Conducting annual,
special raffles and other fundraising activities;
-
Responsible
for coordinating the GOAL Annual Meeting;
-
Special events such
as waterfowl hearings, award
presentations/ceremonies;
-
Promoting and
reporting on events for internal and external
communications;
-
General office help
as needed;
-
Must have good
phone/communication skills;

Must have a working
knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office products
including WORD, PUBLISHER, ACCESS, EXCEL,
POWERPOINT;
-
Must have a valid
Massachusetts firearm license or be willing to
obtain one.
