If your club is officially affiliated with Gun Owners' Action League and
is running an event that you would like to advertise, please
email the information, or a link to the information on the clubs webpage to GOAL. For a full listing of shooting competitions go to www.goalshooters.org.
- The Western MA Bird Dog Club hosts free Youth Pheasant and Chuker Partridge hunts for juniors that have passed a basic hunter safety course. The hunts are completely free and include dogs if needed. The hunts are offered most of the year, please contact Jim Waitkus @ waitkus2@comcast.net. for more information or to schedule a hunt.
- Sunday September 12, 2010 Townsend Rod & Gun Club will be hosting their annual Open House. More info here.
- Saturday September 18th, 2010 Haverhill Hound & Gun Club will be hosting its annual Ladies Firearms Clinic. Pre-Registration is required and can only be made by email. (please include contact phone number) to jrichards@hhrg.org. This event is limited to 30 women, first come first serve. The day will include pistol, rifle, and shotgun venues. Lunch will be provided. - Saturday September 18, 2010 Weymouth Sportsmen's club is hosting their first annual Junior Archery competition. Entry fee is $10.00 and includes lunch and a door prize, 10:30 am sharp start.
- Saturday & Sunday September 25 & 26, 2010 Manville Sportsmen's Club is hosting their annual 2 day event, "Settler's Days". More info on their website.
