GOAL Announces Shooting Competition Series

 GOAL is announcing the start of a new shooting competition series to be known as the GOAL Cup Challenge Series. Over the next few months, GOAL will begin to schedule shooting events in several different disciplines. These matches will be annually to decide who will be the GOAL Cup Challenge Series Champion in as many different disciplines as we can schedule.

The concept for this new program was derived from GOAL Board Member Don Kusser’s annual Black Powder GOAL cup shoot. Don has held this team shoot at the Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club for the past several years. GOAL recently decided to expand on Don’s original idea to include as many competitions as we can schedule.

 We are proud to announce that The North Leominster Rod & Gun Club has generously offered to host our first GOAL Cup Challenge Series event. This event will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2007 and will be the Trap Shooters GOAL Cup Challenge. The shoot will be combined with a pig roast and an auction to benefit the GOAL Heritage Program.
