SD.2582  An Act relative to self-defense sprays  Repeals pepper spray section of Ch. 135 of the Acts of 2024 and inserts previous language from Ch. 140 § 122(D)(2022).  Senator Fattman

SD.2583  An Act relative to protecting civil rights  Reduces the list of those who can report someone for an Emergency Risk Protection Order down to the list of those in the previous version of the law.  Senator Fattman

SD.2584  An Act removing certain civil rights restrictions  Removes the term "barrel shroud" from the "assault-style firearms" features test in Ch. 135 of the Acts of 2024.  Senator Fattman

SD.2585  An Act restoring constitutional rights  Removes semi-automatic restrictions from Firearms Identification Card (FID) holders put in place by Ch. 135 of the Acts of 2024 Senator Fattman

SD.2586  An Act promoting fairness in licensing  Creates a grace period for temporary (out of state) licenses to carry (LTC) holders who are re-applying for their license. Senator Fattman

HD.2858  An Act relative to loaning personal property  Eliminates the word "loans" from the registration requirements in Ch. 135 of the Acts of 2024. Makes it so that the reporting requirements for loaning a firearm to another licensed/non-prohibited person extends from "less than 7 days" to "less than a year.  "Representative Muradian

HD.4229  An Act ERPO Study Commission  Establishes a special legislative commission to study the effetiveness and frequency of use of the Commonwealth's co-called "red flag laws" as estabished by Ch. 135 of the Acts of 2024. The Commission will also study the disposition of cases related to the law and release a report of their findings.  Representative Robertson
